Cypress Cove was taken in the early fall of 2015, while Kip was working along one of the most beautiful stretches of Point Lobos State Reserve. During an early hike, he searched for a way to frame the morning sun peeking through a cliff-dwelling cypress tree with the incoming surf of the Pacific Ocean. After lining everything-up with his Canon 1D Mk II, Kip created this image capturing the famous beauty of Point Lobos.
