Big Sur Forever was taken along the northern Big Sur Coast in late May 2000, just before sunset. Kip set his sights on the soft afternoon lighting, vibrant blue sky and wonderful arch to produce this remarkable image. Using a wide angle lens and his Mamiya 645 medium format camera, he created this image during a 1-second exposure at F22 on 50 speed film.
